Many economic records have been shattered during the past seven weeks – all of them bad and caused by the containment measures imposed by most countries to control the spread of COVID-19. Two months ago, people felt secure in their jobs and were going out to eat, traveling, attending shows at the theater, shopping and rooting for their favorite team at the arena or on television.
